At Comic Box, we love the excitement of opening a box of comics and discovering something you weren’t expecting. That’s why we created our KEY 50 Promise — our way of adding an extra bit of excitement, surprise and collectability to the Comic Box experience.
The idea is simple:
For every 50 Comic Boxes we ship, we will add a KEY comic issue to the next Comic Box sent out.
No special code. No separate competition to enter. No extra purchase required.
Just order your Comic Box as normal and you could be the lucky customer who opens their delivery to discover a KEY issue inside!
🔑 WHAT COULD YOU FIND?
That’s part of the fun — you won’t know until you open the box.
You might discover something like X-Men #282 — the first appearance of Bishop — waiting for you alongside the rest of your comics.
But that’s only an example.
The KEY issues we add will vary, with comics coming from different publishers, characters, series and eras. Some may be important first appearances. Others could be notable issues, sought-after books or comics with an interesting place in comic-book history.
And, of course, some KEY issues will be more valuable than others.
We’re deliberately keeping the selection varied. We think that’s what makes the KEY 50 Promise exciting: there’s always the possibility that an ordinary Comic Box delivery could contain something a little extraordinary.

So, if you open your Comic Box and discover that you’ve received one of our KEY 50 comics, don’t keep it a secret!
